The “ Open Doorway” is the name given to the
new area created at the main entrance to the Sanctuary
on Leith Walk.
Completed in October 2004 and opened by Rev Andrew McLellan,
this area was created by the removal of pews at the rear
of the church and is now a flexible and comfortable area
fitted with a sliding glass door and offering a ready
welcome and open door to all who come.
We now open the “Open Doorway” each week on
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.00am –1.00pm.
Please feel welcome to come in- to have a cup of tea or
coffee- to have a chat or to sit quietly- to have a look
at the Church or to have a quiet time with God in his
house.
We plan to develop the use of our “Open Doorway”
area in making links with groups in the community and
would welcome and consider new ideas. |
