Moderator’s Visit to Leith

Moderator’s visit – The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Hon Lord Wallace of Tankerness QC (Jim Wallace, formerly an MSP and Depute First Minister in the Scottish Parliament) will be visiting South Leith Parish Church on Sunday 17 October for an evening service.

The occasion will be to share in worship and to meet, encourage and support the churches in Leith. It will be a great opportunity for the Moderator to hear about how we in Leith see our future and for us to hear how his visit to Edinburgh Presbytery has been.

Sunday 17th will be his last formal worship engagement in his time in Edinburgh, and we encourage all to come along to show the Moderator what a flourishing church the church in Leith is.
The service starts at 7.00 pm.
