PILRIG ST PAUL'S CHURCH CHOIR
Meets to rehearse each Sunday morning at 10am, prior to the 11am service. The choir sings an anthem at every Sunday morning service, except during July and August, and on special occasions such as Good Friday and Christmas Eve. The repertoire is wide ranging, and includes beautiful contemporary music by popular composers such as Bob Chilcott and John Rutter amongst older classics. We welcome singers of all standards as this is a mixed ability group. Come along and give it a go!
Is for children from 8 years upwards and is for promising singers who work in a small and focused group. The Choristers rehearse on Tuesdays 4-5.30pm and then join the adult choir on Sunday mornings at 10am to prepare for the morning service.
Choristers earn a pocket money allowance of £1 per rehearsal and £1 per service.
If your child is interested in being part of Pilrig Choristers, contact Colin Gray to arrange an informal audition.
