A Commemorative Service and wreath laying will take place to mark the centenary of the Quintinshill Rail Disaster on Saturday 23 May.
The service will take place at the memorial grave in Rosebank Cemetery and access will be strictly limited to those with tickets.
The full Service is being projected and broadcast onto a big screen TV in Pilrig Park, immediately opposite the cemetery, with unlimited admission for those who do not have tickets for the cemetery.
An alternative viewing area, particularly for those who are disabled, is being provided within Pilrig St Paul's Church. A new BBC docu-drama of the crash, with commentary by Neil Oliver, will be shown within the Church at 11am followed at approximately 12 noon, by a screening of the Service from Rosebank Cemetery.
