Welcome to our Christmas Services
Posted on Thursday 22 December 2011 - 01:08:41 by Director of Music

Everyone is welcome at our Christmas services, celebrating the birth of Jesus.

On Christmas Eve at 6.30pm we have an all-age family carol service with plenty of lively music and visuals. The service lasts for one hour.

Later on, at 11.30pm, we hold the Watchnight service, which welcomes in Christmas Day with organ and choral music, carols for everyone, sermon, reading and prayers. The music will include "O holy night" by Adolphe Adam, and the popular medieval song, "Gaudete."

The atmosphere in the church is always special on Christmas Eve, with the tree lights glowing and candles flickering.

On Christmas Day at 10am we have an informal service to celebrate Christmas  Day. This is a family-friendly service and everyone is encouraged to bring along one of their Christmas presents to show to everyone during the service.

Please feel welcome to join us at any of these special services.
