VOCAL VIBES at mothering Sunday service

VOCAL VIBES, the community junior choir of Pilrig St Paul's, will be singing at the 11am service this Sunday, 14th March. They'll joint the adult choir in singing John Rutter's beautiful piece, "All things bright and beautiful" and will also be contributing some funky world music as well!
Come along and celebrate the themes of creation, creativity and nurture.

We're having our very own arts festival from 9th - 16th May with organ concerts, community "have a go" events and visiting artists. Stay tuned to the website for the programme release later this month!

Edinburgh Telephone Choir

Thanks to the Edinburgh Telephone Choir for giving us a great evenings entertainment on Tuesday night (23/2).
This has raised just under £600 for the Church Funds and there may still be some money to come in. Thanks to everyone who supported the event.

VOCAL VIBES Rehearsals Begin

Our community junior choir, VOCAL VIBES, for primary 3 age upwards begins again on Wednesday after the half term holiday.
Vocal Vibes 1 (p3+4) is from 1545-1645 and Vocal Vibes 2 (P5 upwards is from 1700 - 1800.
Both groups meet in the large hall.
There is no charge for these sessions, which are run by the Director of Music and a team of volunteer helpers from the church.
New members are welcome - for more information contact Martin Ritchie (Director of Music) on 07984 466 855.

Happy Birthday Pilrig St. Paul's!

24th February is the 'birthday' of the congregation as on that day in 1999 Pilrig St. Paul's was formed with the union of Leith: St. Paul's and Pilrig & Dalmeny St. Churches.
It's hard to believe that 12 years have passed since then, a lot of things have happened in the church but by far the best is the creation of a warm and welcoming worship community.
