Our buildings comprise a large upstairs hall with a stage
area , a smaller downstairs hall, our “Open Doorway”
and the main worship sanctuary.
We have Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section
of the BB, and also Brownies and Guides.
The Church of Scotland Guild is open to both women and
men and meets on the second and fourth Tuesday each month
throughout the winter session. It has a varied and interesting
programme
Currently the members are all women aged from 40 to 75+
Our hall facilities are well used by community groups
eg Yoga, Tai-chi, and Dosti Muslim groups for women and
children.
We put on a pantomime each year in November which involves
many of the church members and also lots of young people.
During the Edinburgh Festival we run our Pilrig Parlour
offering lunches and snacks to visitors and people in
the community. |
